The pairings for the World Schools Festival 2022 have just been revealed, and they will put some of the most prestigious rugby schools from across the world against one another.
In the major sporting event, which will take place in Thailand from the 13th to the 17th of December, elite teams from New Zealand, England, South Africa, Ireland, Wales, and Fiji will compete against one another.
The World Schools Festival will be held in 2022 in the Pattana Sports Resort
Which is located in the country of Thailand. The venue is situated on more than one thousand acres of land and is only a short distance from the airport in Bangkok. It features a wide variety of facilities of the highest possible quality. This will serve as the epicenter of this prestigious international tournament.
The festival has, in the past, been an important indicator of whose rugby team is considered to be the greatest in the world. The 2019 iteration of the competition contributed to the continued elevation of the prominence of South African schools; Grey College had decisive victories against Christchurch Boys and Hartpury College during the competition.
On Tuesday, the 13th of December, the festival will get underway, and there will be some intriguing matches for the teams who are participating.
The draw for the quarter-final matchups of the cup tournament will take place on Tuesday, December 13th, and the festival week will continue with an exciting new format scheduled for later in the week.

Grey College (South Africa) v Trinity College (England).
St Michael’s College (Ireland) v Cardiff and Vales College (Wales)
The CUP Semi Final 1 will see the two winners against one other.

Sedbergh School (England) v Millfield School (England)
Hamilton Boys’ High School (New Zealand) v TBC
Ratu Kadavulevu School of Fiji would have been Hamilton Boys’ potential opponents (RKS). Because of the country’s external educational timetables, however, the institution had to withdraw.
Still, RKS has sent 14 players to compete with the Odyssey Squad for the open trophy, bringing some of Fiji’s enchantment to the event.
Millfield and Sedbergh, two of the best teams in English schoolboy rugby, will face off after the draw. One of these teams will emerge victorious, marking the end of the national battle for The Schools Championship.
The Grey College rugby team is widely regarded as one of the best high school teams in the world. It will be a rematch of the classic England vs. South Africa contest against Trinity of England.
St. Michael’s of Ireland, who are a powerhouse in Irish rugby with to their consistent output of top-tier players, will face Cardiff & Vale.
